Every donation is assigned to a programme: scholarship, kit, tutoring or emergency fund. A receipt and an annual report are sent. We do not fund running costs beyond a ceiling of 12%.

Yes. Sponsorship connects you to one young person (first name, year group, school). You receive two school reports a year and a letter. Direct contact is supervised, to protect the pupil.

Not for now. Our work is in Burundi, with a priority on Bujumbura, Gitega, Ngozi and Rumonge. Better to do this well here than to spread ourselves thin.

School record, family situation, an interview, and the school's assessment. Excellence and vulnerability are read together. A brilliant orphan should not have to choose between eating and learning.
